Instead, give your child the very special gift of learning for a lifetime. |
Dr. Yvonne Fournier opened the
doors to Fournier Learning Strategies, Inc., almost 30
years ago.
She wanted to change the approach to education from
teaching children to memorize long enough to pass tests to
providing them with the skills to actually learn and apply
their knowledge.
It’s a very special gift – knowing how to learn – that
every child needs.
Learning To Learn at FLS
Counselors at Fournier Learning
Strategies teach children to learn and master life skills
as well as retain knowledge, apply it to create new
knowledge and to understand that success in today’s world
requires everyone, including adults, to be eternal
learners.
At FLS, we believe every child is capable of learning how
to learn, that they are special; and they have untapped
abilities. At the heart of our education philosophy is Dr.
Fournier’s belief that there’s nothing a child can’t do.
Dr. Fournier has unique insights to children of all ages
and socio-economic backgrounds. She has been written about
in newspapers and magazines extensively over the years and
she is much heralded and copied today for her approach.
